Curd (Yogurt) is packed with Calcium; it boosts skin health, soothing for the stomach and good for digestion. Indians often use curd in his meal; Raita is one very popular way to consume and add the curd in diet.

Ingredients:
- Raw papaya: half (medium size)
- Green chilli: 2-3 no.
- Ginger: 1” piece
- Curd (Yogurt): 100 gm
- Black mustard seed: 2 tablespoon
- Salt: half teaspoon
Preparation:
- Peel off papaya, discard the seeds and grate.
- Take a pressure cooker.
- Put grated papaya and little water into the pressure cooker and close the lid; cook on high flame, bring to full cooking pressure, put off the flame.
- let it be cool and open.
- Squeeze extra water from the boiled papaya. Keep aside.
- Chop green chilli and ginger into very small pieces. Keep aside.
Method:
- Take a mixing bowl. Put the curd, salt, mustard seed, ginger and green chilli.
- Mix them well. Add squeeze out papaya into it.
- Mix well and put into serving bowl.
- Now ‘Raw papaya Raita’ is ready.
You can serve this as side dish.
