Ingredients –
- Gond( edible gum): 50 gm
- Ghee : 100 gm
- Green cardamom:1 teaspoon powder
- Chandi ka verak (optional):(edible silver leaf used to garnish) 3 -5
- Ground Nut (Peanut): 100gm.
- Sesame seed (Black Til): 100 gm.
- Sesame seed (White Til): 100 gm.
- Watermelon Seed: 100 gm.
- Flaxseed: 100 gm.
- Date: 500-600 gm.
Preparation:
- Crush Gond into small pieces. In a heavy bottom pan, heat the ghee; deep fry Gond on medium flame will pop. Keep aside; when it becomes cool, powder it with the help of palm or base of a bowl, keep aside.
- Dry roast Til, flex seed, watermelon seed and peanut on medium low flame for couple of minutes or till it starts to puff off. Keep aside.
- Crush all seeds and peanut coarsely(using grinder or mortar-pestle), keep aside.
- Grind dates roughly, keep aside.
Method:
- Take fry pan, add ghee, add date paste, stir fry on medium low flame for 3-4 minutes (to avoid burning one or two spoon of milk can be added).
- Add all ingredients, mix well, put off the flame.
- Take one handful mix; shape the mixture in laddu by using your palm.
- Depending upon size of laddu 25 to 30 laddu will be ready.
- Decorate with Chandi ka varak, delicious “Mix seed/ variety of seed laddu (Multi Seed Energy Ball) no Sugar” is ready to eat.
