It is delicacy from west Bengal and Bihar region, delicious and crunchy street breakfast contains handful of puffed rice, roasted peanut, fried chickpeas. sprinkle with spicy masala along with chopped onion, boiled potato, lime etc.

Ingredients:
- Kurmura/Murmura (Puffed rice): 2 cup
- Puffed chana (Bengal gram): half cup
- Roasted peanut: half cup
- Besan ke Sev (Bhujia): 1 cup
- Boiled potatoes: 2 no. (Medium size) optional
- Onion: 1 no. (Medium size)
- Green chilli: 2 no. (As per taste)
- Ginger: 1” piece
- Coriander leaves: 10-15 gm
- Mustard oil: 1-2 tablespoon
- Kala namak: 1/4 teaspoon
- Chilli flex: 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon: 1 no.
Preparation:
- Peel off and cut potatoes into small cubes.
- Chop onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and ginger into small pieces.
Method:
- Take a mixing bowl, put all ingredients together.
- Mix properly, squeeze lemon juice.
- “Jhaal Murhi” is ready to serve, decorate with Besan ka Bhujia.
- Serve immediately as mustard oil and lemon juice makes it soggy.
Note:
mustard oil is necessary in this recipe.
