Ginger fried rice

  • Soaking time: 20-30 minutes
  • Preparation time: 3-4 minutes.
  • Boiling rice time: 15 minutes.
  • Frying time: 5 minutes.
  • Total time: 24  minutes.

Ginger is very common spices in Asian country; it is very effective in preventing the symptoms of motion sickness and seasickness.

It is safe to consume for effective relief of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Ginger rice provides magnesium and antioxidants.

Ingredients:

  • Basmati rice: 1 cup
  • Ghee (clarified butter): 2 tablespoon
  • Spring onions: half cup
  • Salt: half teaspoon
  • Water: 2 cup
  • Ginger (cut into Julian):4”piece

Ingredients for Masala Potali:

  • Clove: 2 no.
  • Bay leaf: 1 no.
  • Ginger (pounded): 1 inch piece

Preparation:

  1. Clean and wash rice. Soak it into water. Keep aside for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Finely chop Spring onion. Keep aside.
  3. Take a muslin cloth 5 square inch. Put Potali masala ingredient in it and tie. Masala Potali is ready. Keep aside.

Method:

  1. Boil the rice with masala Potali, bay leaf add 1 teaspoon of ghee and salt.
  2. You can cook rice into rice cooker/pressure cooker. Keep aside.
  3. Heat remaining ghee in a fry-pan; add ginger Julian along with the spring onions, fry for couple of minutes, turn off the flame.
  4. Add cooked rice,  mix thoroughly and serve hot.
  5. Garnish Ginger rice with ginger Julian.
  6. Aromatic Ginger rice is ready to serve.
