Fresh green coriander Paneer

During this lock down each one of us craving for food which are something different; our taste buds demand something new, I would like to share the paneer recipe with variation in gravy with domination of fresh coriander greens. It produce exceptional and outstanding aroma which is really soul satisfying.

Preparation

  1. Grind the onion, ginger, garlic and cashew nut together. Keep aside.
  2. Grind coriander leaf with green chilli and keep aside.
  3. Grind tomato and keep aside.
  4. Cut the paneer in 1″ cube.

Method:

  1. Take fry pan, put oil; when oil starts to smoke, add cumin seed, cinnamon, clove and green cardamom, sputter it for few seconds, add ground onion, garlic, cashew nut and ginger paste.
  2.  Stir fry about 3-5 minutes on medium flame; add tomato paste red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder, continue to fry  for couple of minutes or till tomato paste dried up.
  3. Add half of the coriander and chilli paste stir fry for couple of minutes; add 1 cup of hot water, let it boil, add paneer and continue to cook for a minute, add rest of the coriander paste, immediately put off the flame.
  4. Stir it properly, so that green colour is not getting pale.
  5.  Transfer into serving bowl; Green- green coriander paneer is ready to be served.
