Fish fry:
You can serve this any time, breakfast, lunch or dinner
If you are non vegetarian, there is nothing better than fish in your meal.
It is a good source of protein, vitamin D, Omega 3 fatty acid and other nutrients.
Everybody knows that after all fish is a delicacy.
Ingredients:
- Fish (Rohu): 400 gm (cut in pieces)
- Garlic: 1 teaspoon (paste)
- Salt: 2 teaspoon (level)
- Corn flour: 2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
- Mustard oil/oil: 3 tablespoon
- Mustard seed: 1 teaspoon
- Fenugreek seed: half teaspoon (optional)
- Lemon juice: 2 teaspoon
preparation:
- Clean the fish properly with running water. Add lemon juice. Leave it for 5-7 minutes. Again wash the fish drain out all the water.
- Add 1 teaspoon salt, garlic paste ,corn flour and turmeric powder. Rub on the fish. Keep aside.
Method:
- Heat oil in fry pan on high flame, when smoke starts coming; put mustard seed allow the seed to Sputter for few seconds, reduce heat at low flame.
- Add fish pieces and increase the flame on medium high.
- Fry on both sides till golden brown colour appears (about 2-4 minutes each side), take out; fry remaining pieces in the same way.
- Garnish with Chat masala, onion ring and lemon.
- Serve hot with Rice or Chapati and Dal.
