Phalahari Thali day 7

The last four days of navratri is the biggest festival, ‘Kalratri’ is the seventh form of Navdurga, worshiped on the seventh day of navratri.

Navratri is our favorite time of the year and all of us love to indulge into our traditional celebration. Let’s continue our gastronomy journey of navratri with phalahari Thali day 7.

On the seventh day of Navratri, I prepared a balanced and flavourful thali, perfect for maintaining energy and satisfying cravings during the fast. The main dish was Singhare ke Aate ki Poori, made from water chestnut flour, which is light, crispy, and delicious, offering the perfect base for a festive meal.

To add a touch of sweetness, I prepared Gajar ka Halwa, a traditional carrot dessert cooked with milk solid(khoa/mawa), dry fruits, and sugar, providing a comforting and rich taste that complements the vrat-friendly menu.

Alongside these dishes, I served a refreshing Cucumber Raita, made from grated cucumber mixed with yogurt and mild spices, bringing a cooling and soothing element to the plate.

To complete the meal, a Grapes and Pomegranate Cooler was served—a naturally sweet and hydrating drink that combines the freshness of grapes and pomegranate, making the thali both delicious and revitalising.

Together, these dishes bring a delightful balance of flavours and textures, making the Navratri meal both enjoyable and nourishing.
