For the day of Navratri, I prepared a vibrant and nutritious thali with a mix of light and satisfying dishes. The star of the meal was Phalahari Handwa, a crispy snack made with vrat-friendly flours, pan fried offering a delightful crunch and flavour that’s perfect for fasting days.
To add a refreshing sweetness to the thali, I made a Low-Calorie Fruit Cream, a light and airy dessert that combines a variety of fresh fruits with a creamy base of paneer, making it a guilt-free treat that is both tasty and nourishing.
Finally, for a refreshing touch, I served Tender Coconut with Malai Delight, which uses the soft, tender coconut flesh mixed with coconut water, adding natural sweetness and hydration to the meal.
Together, these dishes bring a balance of salt, sweet, and refreshing elements to the thali, making the day of Navratri a truly delightful and wholesome culinary experience.
