Phalahari Thali (day 1)

For the day of Navratri, I prepared a wholesome and flavourful thali, starting with Phalahari Idli—a special vrat-friendly variation of the traditional idli, made using vrat ingredients like samak rice and served with a delicious Peanut Chutney. The chutney, rich in flavour, offers a perfect nutty complement to the soft and fluffy idlis, adding a burst of taste to every bite.

To keep the meal light and refreshing, I paired it with a Soft Drink infused with Raisins, adding natural sweetness(honey) and an energy boost, making it perfect for the fasting period.

Finally, to complete the thali and provide a soothing touch, I brewed a cup of Herbal Tea, which brings warmth to this simple yet satisfying Navratri special meal.

This Thali is from south India, the food from this part of India is regarded one of the healthiest in the world, the Thali consists of four recipes; Phalahari Idli, Phalahari Peanut Chutney, Raisin Refresher and Herbal Tea.
