Raw papaya raita

The recipe is low in fat, good for everyone; our family love this recipe, taste is pungent and fantastic, easy and quick to prepare. Papaya has wonderful anti-aging benefits and antioxidant power.

Curd (Yogurt) is packed with Calcium; it boosts skin health, soothing for the stomach and good for digestion. Indians often use curd in his meal; Raita is one very popular way to consume and add the curd in diet.

Preparation:

  1. Peel off papaya, discard the seeds and grate.
  2. Take a pressure cooker.
  3.  Put grated papaya and little water into the pressure cooker and close the lid; cook on high flame, bring to full cooking pressure, put off the flame.
  4.  let it be cool and open.
  5. Squeeze extra water from the boiled papaya. Keep aside.
  6. Chop green chilli and ginger into very small pieces. Keep aside.

Method:

  1. Take a mixing bowl. Put the curd, salt, mustard seed, ginger and green chilli.
  2. Mix them well. Add squeeze out papaya into it.
  3. Mix well and put into serving bowl.
  4. Now ‘Raw papaya Raita’ is ready.
