Paneer Makhana (foxnut) ki sabzi

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Cut the Paneer into 1 inch length and half inch wide pieces.
  2. Cut the onion and tomato. And Grind it to fine paste.
  3. Fry Paneer with 1 teaspoon of ghee. Fry light (Do not fry for longer period, it should not change the color)

Method:

  1. Take a fry pan. Put two table spoon of ghee in it. Add Makhane keep stirring and fry till light brown. Keep aside.
  2. Take a fry pan. Put ghee in it. Add clove, cumin seed, bay leaf and cinnamon, Sputter it for few seconds.
  3. Add onion and tomato paste and fry it in low flame (about 10-15 minutes).
  4. Add ginger paste. Stir it and fry it till ghee separates from masala.
  5. Add chill powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt, stir the masala..
  6. Add fresh cream and keep frying about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add one cup of water slowly. Boil it.
  8. Boil it for about 2-minutes.
  9. Add fried Makhane and boil it about 3-5 minutes.
  10. Then add Paneer and again boil it for 2-minutes.
  11. At last add Garam masala and cover the lid.
  12. Decorate with chopped coriander leaf.
  13. serve hot with fluffy poori  or roti.
